Though you may not have noticed, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger had a very ambitious environmental platform in his campaign last fall. One of his many promises was to speed adoption of the Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) that CLCV helped pass in 2002. Senate Bill 1478, sponsored by State Senator Byron Sher, does just that.
